Course Objectives:

• Understand the key hazards associated with EV, BESS and Solar PV systems, including thermal runaway, re-ignition, arc flash and “always-energised” risks
• Conduct initial risk assessment and identify hazard zones
• Apply CERT response procedures for EV fires, BESS room incidents, and PV system emergencies
• Perform defensive firefighting, isolation techniques, and safe communication protocols
• Execute proper handover to SCDF
• Manage incidents safety without increasing risk to responders or facility operations
